ATWT: Tame this shrew, please

One of my favorite characters on all of daytime is Carly Tenney. I am a huge fan of Maura West. That said, Carly's latest actions make her very unlikeable. In the past, Carly has lied, cheated and schemed. She is a master manipulator. However, she was never mean. That is why it is so hard to understand Carly's nastiness toward Gwen. Why is Carly becoming such a shrew?
