Mel, you can't really claim doctor/patient privilege over something like this. This wasn't something said in a counseling session. It doesn't deal with this direct medical records.
I'm just so glad that it looks like Josh it gonna blow the doors off Jeffrey!

I missed it what happen and how is Mel involved?
Mel treated Jeffrey when he fell off a horse (that he was only on to "Richardize" himself in Cassie's eyes). While he was under medication he admitted to Mel (thinking she was Cassie) that he slept with Cassie when he was posing as Richard. Mel, of course, was in a quandry--weighing her friendship with Cassie over doctor/patient priv. She and Rick consulted. Mel later ran into Richard and she told him she would not violate doctor/patient priv (which I don't think is even relevant). However, Josh overheard the whole conversation and went to Jeffrey and said HE (Josh) would tell Cassie.
